Welcome to my humble corner of the internet!
My name is Gavin Collins, and I write fantasy stories. I grew up reading the likes of The Sword of Shannara trilogy, The Deathgate Cycle, Dragonlance, The Heralds of Valdemar, and, especially beloved, The Wheel of Time.
These fantastical tales have woven into my psyche and have led to endless joy — an amazing thing for a queer kid growing up in the late 1990s and 2000s. I hope to contribute, in my own small way, to the landscape of epic high fantasy literature. I’m currently in the (very early) planning stages of a series that follows the classic trope of farm-boy-turned-savior-fighting-the-dark-lord, with some twists, and a cast that incorporates queer identities into the cast of characters (including the farm boy!).
